Midnight Zen Madman…

20120826-235930.jpg doesn’t everyone prepare Cuban White Beans and then plate em with cute little Grapes, Young Wheatgrass Blades and freshly dried Thai Peppers around midnight on Sundays? I forgot to mention the little vine ripened Tomato and forgive the shadow on the White Beans…, as it’s too late for me to take another photo because I ate it and I’m too tired to think of doing this again…

Cornell Graduation Weekend with Eight Guests in the Barn House…

20120826-122754.jpg These folks were so nice! Even after a finding birds in the bathroom vent and having a bat fly into a bedroom in the middle of the night they were all smiling. Their Mom (pictured), said it was the nicest place she’s ever been away from home…

Live Oats, Thai Coconuts and Good Morning…

20120826-105453.jpg and I thought everyone knew that oatmeal was milled from oat grain??? We take Live Local Oat Grain, mill them in the kitchen, serve them raw (preferably) or cooked lightly in spring water… So this morning these folks were treated to fresh cracked Thai Coconut( fresh coconut water first, then the fresh meat), Oatmeal (barely cooked) and misc. fresh Berries and me (for entertainment)…

Long day, didn’t sleep last night, too much on my mind, too much stuff to do, not enough help… That’s it, I’ve done my complaining…

If Not Zen… When?

20120820-230448.jpg Tonight in the log house kitchen. I’ve got three kitchens here and I’m doing my best to figure the logistics of how to best utilize them… All I’m comming up with is to close two of em down and concentrate on the one… Go figure?

ZenDayZenNite… Awww gimme a break

Up late, gotta be awake early… Looks like I’m gonna be up early and asleep… Don’t you hate it when you look at the clock and if you fall asleep you’ll have to get up in 3 hours… Shit! A new bedroom in the Log House that’s almost complete. I did the tilework ( Turkish/Ottoman China/Ceramic Tile) on the headboard which is an antique fireplace mantle.

My Graduation Class, November 1974, Somewhere in Southeast Asia… The streets smelled vile, the air was always thick, I recall being in an herb shop, the shopkeeper took a box out from behind the counter and showed me his private collection of ginsing, there was one piece in particular that was formed exactly as a human, two legs, two arms, neck, head, mouth, nose and two eyes…

50 Perry Street, Downtown NYC… Yes, that little place on Perry Street, some say that their higher power was in that radiator that’s on the wall to the right as you walk in… There are some that have walked through those doors dead and stayed alive…

What I looked like in August 2011 before I did 2 major fasts, one in September 2011 for 12 days of wheatgrass and the other this past July for 7 days on water… Hey, they say I’m healthy. So this photo is at the falls behind and below the Phi Gamma Delta frat house on the Cornell Campus where I lived during the summer of 1966. I remember the night I first walked down the long gorge path to the falls behind me, it was June 29th 1966, the water was so very clean you could drink it, if you did that today you’d get sick…, My, my…, 46 years ago.

Dinner; Time Out…
